Large Groups/Events

We would love to help you celebrate at Waffles. Please note that we are located in a Historic House and therefore the tearoom is split into three distinct areas. We cannot guarantee that parties of more than 12 will be seated in the same room.

Waffles Tea Room can seat 30 guests at a maximum. We do not charge a fee to rent the entire space. We do require that all guests reserve the full tea service.

We do not allow outside decorations in the tearoom or on the porch due to the extra time it takes to set up the space and for safety reasons. Each tea seating is for one and a half hours and does not allow time for gift giving.

Please feel free to bring a cake if you wish. We do not charge a cake fee.

Alcohol is not permitted inside the tea room.

PARKING

Parking can sometimes be a challenge in Dahlonega! We do have a large parking lot immediately behind the tearoom but it can fill up quickly. At the weekends guests are welcome to use the multi story parking lot at the University of North Georgia which is only about 2 blocks away.

Dress Code : Please wear what makes you comfortable! We have hats available!

Children: We love having children of all ages at Waffle's English Tea Room. Please be aware that we only have one high chair and one booster seat and they may not always be available.

Meal Sharing: Unlike most tea rooms we do allow a tea service for one to be split among two people. Please note though that this is a tea specifically curated for one person. We only allow one split per tea service.
